This access totally depends on the tide, it makes for a good paddle up the entire Pubnico  Harbour, whether leaving from the Lower East Pubnico Wharf or Dennis Point Wharf .
If a group is paddling and you only want to paddle one way is convenient to arrange to be shuttled.
At Pubnico Head near where the #3 and #103 highway join there is a garage and convenient store that provides supplies and water. Next door to the garage/store is the Pubnico Lions Hall located right next to the road, here the local Lions Club welcome bikers, hikers and kayakers to tent overnight. There is water for washing and an outside toilet.
