Abuptic a Mi’kmaq word meaning where the rivers meet the sea. Paddlers are welcome to use this access, keep in mind this is a very busy site with sail and motor boat owners using this facility. Once again remember these boaters are very knowledgeable about the surrounding coast and will give you helpful information. From here you can paddle to Argyle Head, where the Argyle River meets the sea!
