Public Access: The access at the Marina may be abit difficult because you have to carry your kayak down the ramp and onto the floating docks.

A very picturesque paddle in the evening along the waterfront, just directly off shore from the docks is a bird colony, usually commorants and great blue heron nest here.

Caution: Yarmouth Harbour is very busy and can be dangerous when boats arrive and depart. Many of these boats leave a large wake that can cause havoc with the unsuspecting paddler!

The Yarmouth Visitors Information Centre is just up the hill from the ferry terminal. Also along Water Street there are places to eat and shop. Most evenings during the summer there is entertainment  at the Gazebo on the waterfront. Enjoy your stay in Yarmouth.
