Shoreline: mixture of rock, and saltmarsh<\/address>\n
Type of Access: A short gravel road\u00c2\u00a0 going to the ocean,\u00c2\u00a0 often only passable with a truck or jeep for dropping off your kayak.<\/address>\n
Parking: This is not a good parking area, please do not block the access to the water, come prepared to paddle from here or use as a take out<\/address>\n

As you enter Shelburne County at Granite Village the ocean comes into a sheltered bay and at high tide this\u00c2\u00a0makes the Kayaker’s enthuasium to hit the water and enjoy the day intensify. This is just to wet your appetite as you will find many beautiful accesses to the coast in Shelburne and Yarmouth Counties. It is important to remember all the public accesses to the coastline are on the Lighthouse Route, #3 highway unless otherwise stated.<\/p>\n

This location is the Port L’Herbert Migratory Bird Sanctuary.<\/p>\n
