I left Friday morning for an over night trip on Quinan Lake. Â When I tried to reach my favoite island camp site I was unable to so due to the strong winds blowing down the lake. So, I set up my camp on a peninsula at the lower end of the lake which proved to be a great location. Denny Dentremont arrived Saturday morning; the winds were still blowing. We decided to portage to the eastern bay which was more sheltered and spent a great day exploring.
